Q:I have a JVC HM170 and want to record video and use a lapel mic for audio. Can I use the AM3 for this with my camera. If not, what options are available?
Q:Hello can this mic work with camcorders?
Q:Can the volume be adjusted with this mic using the M2 system?
A:Yes, there is a volume pot inside of the M2R battery compartment.
Q:Will this mic work with my Pro88?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. It will not work with your Pro88w. I suggest the MT830mw, which is a very similar microphone and designed for this system.
Q:Will this lav mic work with a Sony Handycam HDR-CX260V?
A:The AM3 will not work. It is designed specifically for use with our Wireless IEM Receiver packs. The pack provides bias voltage to power the microphone on the RING of the plug, not the tip which is more common.
Q:Older model 5 pin connecter need xlr adapter
A:Please contact our Audio Solutions Department at (330) 686-2600 ext 5000 or at email@example.com for assistance with this.
Q:is there an xlr adapter to use this mike with a cable instead of wireless system? (similar to Sennheiser MZA900P)
A:There is not. This mic was designed specifically for use as an ambient microphone to be used in conjunction with our wireless in ear monitor systems receiver pack. It requires 5 V DC on the ring of its 3.5 mm stereo connector.
Q:Will this work with a ATW-T210?
A:No it will not. The AM3 is designed to be used specifically with our Wireless In-Ear Monitor Systems Receiver packs as an ambient microphone. It uses a 3.5mm plug, and is expecting to see +5V DC on the Ring. Our MT830cW is the same microphone element designed specifically for use with our wireless microphone systems which feature a Unipak model bodypack Transmitter. The ATW-T210 you mention is such a Transmitter. It uses a 4-pin female connector that is expecting to see bias voltage from the Transmitter on pin 4.Use the MT830cW Lavalier Microphone instead.
Q:Where is the volume control on M3 receiver for this ambient mic?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The volume is set via the menu on the M3 receiver. First, make sure the Aux input is set to microphone (not line) in the menu and then adjust your volume accordingly. This informationa can be found in the manual for the M3 system.
Q:The ATR3350 condenser mic
A:Thank you for your inquiry. It will work, but not as well as the AM3 that is designed for this system. Please note that the ATR3350 is desined to plug into a stereo microphone level input.
