Used the 92cW four days without incident, had great sound, however the rigid tube construction snapped while cleaning it!

Q:Does this mic require phantom power? If so, does Audio-technica supply it? Is the power pack that came with the mic equal appropriate phantom power?
A:All condenser element type microphones require some amount of power to function. When the mic is used in conjunction with a wireless system bodypack transmitter, this power is supplied by the transmitter and it is known as bias voltage. Bias voltage typically ranges somewhere between 2 and 9 volts. This is much different from phantom power, which is typically 12, 24 or 48 volts. Additionally, these voltages are carried over entirely different paths.
Q:can this PRO 92cW-TH headworn microphone be shaped and/or bent at any section of the wire in order to accommodate fit and sound sweet spot?
A:The PRO 92cW-TH can indeed be bent to shape the face better!
Q:Will this work with the H1 Zoom recorder?
A:No. The "cW" code indicates the cable terminates with the 4 pin HRS connection for Audio-Technica wireless UniPak transmitters.
Q:Is this microphone suitable for singing?
A:The PRO92cW is not suitable for singing. Audio-Technica wireless headworn microphones compatible with A-T UniPak® that are suitable for singing are:

Q:Does a new mic come with wind screens?
A:The PRO92cW does come with a windscreen and clip. However, should you want to purchase additional windscreens, the windscreen for the PRO92cW is the AT8158. If you have the PRO92cW-TH (beige), those windscreens are the AT8158-TH. The clip is the AT8442.
Q:Will this mic work with an ATW-T31 or ATW-T35 bodypack?

Q:Will this mic work with ATW-T310BC/D transmitters

Q:Will this microphone work with my old Freeway 200 series system?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. This will work with the older or current 200 series belt back transmitter.
Q:Do they make one of these that will wrap around the back of your head and over both ears instead of just one?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The Pro92cW does not have an option to wrap around the head and over both ears. The BP892cW does have this option.
