A:Yes, the mic dimensions are the same. The only difference between these is in the way that they are terminated at the end of the cable.

A:These are the same microphone. They are just terminated differently.The AT831cW is for use with an a-t brand wireless system. It uses a 4-pin female Hirose type output connector andmay be used with any of our wireless systems that include a UniPak model bodypack Transmitter.

A:Thank you for your inquiry. You can remove the element from the AT831cW. It is threaded on to the body. The AT829cW has a fixed element that cannot be removed.
