        A:

        Thank you for your inquiry. This would probably work, but would not be optimal. The ATW-A3D and ATW-A3C are tuned for specific frequency bands that are outside of the M3 systems. If you just need replacement antenna they are available form our parts department. If you need to improve transmission our ATW-A49s antenna is what you need.

      I have a series 2000 UHF receiver, will the ATW-A3D antenna match my system? We use it for high school football radio broadcast and the range isnt enough for us. Will these antennas increase our range for the side line reporter?

        Thank you for your inquiry. If your 2000 series is a D band system ( 656.125 to 678.500 MHz) the a ATW-A3D will work. They should provide improved performance.

        The ATW-A3D are 1/2 wave d-Band antennas. Since you listed your 2000 Series wireless system as being in the d-Band(width), you may use the A3D for remoting. However, please review this information carefully.

        PLEASE NOTE: To remote antennas successfully, it will require very specific setup, including very specific components. Since every setup is a little different from the next, it would be best to contact an Audio Solutions Specialist from Audio-Technica United States (ATUS). Contact Information is below:

        Below is an example of a few items you will need to remote A3D antennas with a D-Band 2000 Series System. More components might be required, depending on your particular setup. Also, A3D antennas will not work with i-Band or c-Band systems.

        - 50 Ohm Cable (NOT 75 Ohm. That's video cable)
        -- Audio-Technica manufactures the following (the number = length in feet):
        --- AC12 / AC25 / AC50 / AC100 -Each Sold Individually

        - The ATW-BH1 (Comes with two 50 ohm BNC Couplers)
        -- You need a coupler because the antenna and cable have the same connector.

        Maximum cable run for remote antennas is 100'.

      Can I use these with the ATW-DA49?

      I want to set up a rack with two 3000 series, and one 2000 series receivers connected to an ATW-DA49. Will these work better than the ones that came with my receivers?

      All of my receivers are 655-680 MHz

        Thank you for your inquiry. Both the 3000 series and the 2000 series will work with the ATW-DA49. The ATW-A3D 1/2 wave antenna will work better than the 1/4 wave antenna that are included with these systems.

      Ground plane needed?

      If I use these half-wavelength antennas in a remote antenna mount solution, do they need to be mounted on a metal plate for a ground plane like 1/4-wave antennas?
