Comments about Audio-Technica AT311EP Cartridge:
This cartridge can be purchased online for around $30 and provides an excellent alternative to much more expensive cartridges for someone who would like to hear all of the music that is available while playing vinyl records. I highly recommend this cartridge to someone who is either just 'getting into' vinyl or listening on a budget.

Q:Is there a 78 rpm stylus for this cartridge?
Q:what is the weight of the at311ep cartridge
A:Thanks for your inquiry. The weight of the AT311EP cartridge is 6g.
Q:Hi will this work on a moranz tt483
Q:Have brought my old Kenwood KD-54R back into service with excellent results. The cartridge is a HiTec 103, and back in the day I successfully replaced the stylus several times with an AT 213-D6C, which was compatible with AT3472P. Now I'm considering replacing the cartridge with either an AT 3482P or an AT 311EP. Do you see any issues?
Q:Will this cartridge work on a technics SL-B20 turntable?
Q:Will a AT311EP work as a replacement for a really old VS215EP
Q:Can it be a replacement for the AT211EP and does it come with an adaptor bracket
Q:The instructions that came with my AT311EP say "Install cartridge as described above for the the 1/2" mount models."
A:The instructions provided with the AT311EP should have had a small diagram of the cartridge and head shell saying which colored cable connects to which pin. If you are looking at the back of the cartridge (with the needle facing the ground) your pins would be as follows:
Q:Will this work as replacement for AT216EP Cartridge by Audio-Technica, or there any other P-Mount cartridges that would work
A:The AT311EP will work as a replacement for the AT216EP.
Q:Is the AT311EP cartridge compatible with a (1/2" mount) tonearm that has an effective mass of 22g (assuming a 6g cartridge) in consideration of cartridge compliance?
A:Yes, but I would only recommend the AT311EP if your tonearm has adjustable height. It will be important to keep the arm level as this is already a low-riding cartridge. Your medium mass arm will cause it to ride lower than a lower mass arm would. Due to the shape of the cartridge body, it is possible for it to bottom out on the record if there is a severe enough warp and the cartridge is not sitting level.
