The newly introduced Artist Series will make its SXSW debut at Audio-Technica’s South by Southwest Booth Q12 in Austin March 14 - 18. A-T has added some spectacularly innovative microphones to the Artist Series, and upgraded classic models for a complete selection of vocal, instrument and drum mics. Additions to the line include: the ATM250DE dual-element kick-drum mic; ATM710 cardioid condenser vocal microphone; ATM650 hypercardioid dynamic instrument microphone with a multi-stage flat grille design; and the innovative ATM450 side-address stick condenser.
Also on display at the A-T booth will be Audio-Technica’s 3000 Series UHF wireless line, now offered with a new handheld condenser microphone/transmitter. With automatic frequency scanning to find the best available channel, 200 selectable UHF channels, true diversity protection from RF hits and dropouts, soft-touch controls, easy setup and great sound, 3000 Series wireless systems deliver truly professional performance. The new ATW-T371 condenser handheld microphone/transmitter features the Artist Series™ ATM710 cardioid condenser element for exacting detail and studio-quality, high-fidelity reproduction. The 3000 Series is also available in handheld dynamic system with the Artist Elite® AE4100 cardioid dynamic element, as well as in lavalier and body-pack systems.
Along with highlighting new products, the Audio-Technica booth will host on-staff audio experts to answer questions and help hone professional skills.
