A new Audio-Technica offering—the AT2041SP Studio Pack—makes its debut at the 119th Audio Engineering Society Convention at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center Oct. 7 - 10, in Booth #608.
Along with highlighting new products, the Audio-Technica booth offers a unique look under the hood of studio mics, which are displayed to reveal the inner workings—allowing up-close view of interior components.
Also new to the A-T booth are dedicated listening areas, where visitors can test drive a wide variety of A-T microphones.
On the Oct. 7, the second night of the AES Convention, the winners of the 21st annual TEC Awards will be announced at a ceremony at the New York Marriott Marquis. Audio-Technica is proud to participate in the Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards as a Gold Sponsor, and to support the beneficial work of the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio. We are also honored that A-T products’ technical innovations have been recognized with prestigious TEC Award nominations. A-T’s 2005 TEC Awards nominations for Outstanding Technical Achievement are AT892 MicroSet™, AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, and the 2000 Series Frequency-agile True Diversity UHF Wireless Systems.
Introducing the AT2041SP
The AT2041SP Studio Pack offers two versatile 20 Series condenser microphones for use in home, project and commercial studios. Equally at home with digital and analog recording devices, the two included studio condensers deliver remarkable specs and superior build. The critically acclaimed AT2020 side-address condenser is ideal for vocal and instrument applications, while the new AT2021 small-diaphragm condenser is a natural for acoustic instruments, overheads, hi-hat and piano.
Audio-Technica’s stringent quality/consistency standards set both microphones apart from other mics in their class. Each offers a wide dynamic range and handles high SPLs with ease. An innovative pivoting stand mount is included along with a stand clamp and protective pouches.
