Audio-Technica is proud to participate in the 22nd Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards as a Gold Sponsor, and to support the beneficial work of the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio. We are also honored that A-T products’ technical innovations have been recognized with prestigious TEC Award nominations. A-T’s 2006 nominations for Outstanding Technical Achievement are the re-engineered UniPoint® line of miniature condenser microphones, and 3000 Series wireless systems.
UniPoint® miniature condenser microphones
When we set out to re-engineer our UniPoint® line of installed-sound microphones, we were aiming for much more than a cosmetic upgrade. In fact, we came up with 13 individual patents and significant technological breakthroughs in the process of reinventing these industry-standard microphones. Improvement to the line include Audio-Technica’s innovative new UniGuard® RFI protection technology, which guards against interference from Blackberries, cell phones, and other wireless communication devices.
3000 Series True Diversity UHF Wireless Systems
With automatic frequency scanning to find and set the best available channel, 200 selectable UHF channels, true diversity protection from RF hits and dropouts, soft-touch controls, easy setup and great sound, the 3000 Series wireless delivers truly professional performance. The versatile UniPak™ body-pack transmitter features a secure 4-pin locking connector compatible with a wide range of microphones, as well as a guitar cable. A 3-position sliding cover on the transmitter’s control panel prevents accidental shut-off or channel-switching.
The 3000 Series is available with either a cardioid dynamic or cardioid condenser handheld transmitter featuring robust metal construction and slim ergonomic design. The ATW-T341 handheld transmitter includes the stage-proven Artist Elite® AE4100 cardioid dynamic element, while the ATW-T371 handheld transmitter features the Artist Series ATM710 cardioid condenser element.
