The TEC Awards, sponsored by Mix magazine, is the world’s most prominent forum honoring outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product design. Nominations in the 16 categories of Technical Achievement (product design) and 9 categories of Creative Achievement (sound production) were made by a select panel of more than 100 audio industry professionals. Online voting opens on August 1, with ballot guides sent with the August issue of Mix magazine, mailed to more than 42,000 BPA-qualified subscribers. The awards will take place on Saturday, October 6, at the New York Marriott Marquis, on the second night of the 123rd AES Convention.
