Radio World U.S. Editor in Chief Paul J. McLane said the “Cool Stuff” Award means a product was selected by a panel of engineers and industry experts as notable for its design, features, cost efficiency and performance in serving radio.
Other recent honors for the AT2020 include the Pro Audio Review PAR Reviewers Pick 2005 award, "Best New Cabled Microphone of 2005" at the 20th Annual Music & Sound Awards, and 2005 nominee for the TEC Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.
