Comments about Audio-Technica ATH-E70 Professional In-Ear Monitor Headphones:
I just received my ATH-E70's in the mail last Saturday. I'm a professional musician. I've shared the stage with Anita Wilson, Bo Williams, The Levites, Rick Robinson, Micah Stampley, Forever Jones, and etc. I must say these are by far the BEST IEM's I've EVER used and I've owned a few. If you're in love with the Shure 215 series this is a MAJOR step up. The thing I really love about these is the response is so raw, meaning no "modified" lows, mids, or highs it's just however that particular instrument sounds RAW, that's what you're going to get. The 215's had boosted bass which really hindered the actual tonality of the music. With these IEM I'm now able to hear my band at church and out on the road as a whole. Truth be told it's as if I'm listening to an album. So if you're pondering on getting these, just do your ears a favor and DO IT!!!

Q:How many decibels of isolation should I expect when using the the comply foam eartips with the ATH-E70, assuming it's a perfect fit?
A:All headphones are passive-noise cancelling because there is a physical object blocking sound from getting to your ears. However, "Noise-Isolation" is not a specification offered by Audio-Technica and other headphone manufactures, especially as it relates to headphones that are non active noise-cancelling headphones. This is partly due to the fact that there is currently no widely accepted and adhered to standard practiced by all top manufacturers by which an accurate noise-isolation measurement and specification can be reached. We do, however, offer this specification for our Active Noise-Cancelling headphones. When it comes to a noise-isolation specification, we currently ask the following questions related to it; "at what frequency?", "by what standard and/or test fixture?", "at which level?", etc.
Q:Can I use this earphones for iPhone 6s?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. Yes you will be able to listen to audio with these from your iPhone 6s and they sound fantastic, however keep in mind these are Professional In-Ear Monitor Headphones made for monitoring audio when recording or mixing. They were not designed for consumer use with a phone and therefore will not come with an inline cable to control your music and such if that is what you are looking for. It is just a regular headphone cable.
Q:Does the ATH E70 have a subwoofer .
A:Thank you for your inquiry. No the E-70's do not have a subwoofer. They are designed for monitoring audio so the frequencies are attenuated to be incredibly well balanced with high accuracy, detail, and clairty. This helps the listener get the most balanced mix possible when mixing audio.
Q:Hi, writing from Italy. I've been looking for a dealer stocking E70 lately but couldn't find any. Any suggestion on how to get a pair?
