    Best Uses

I've now had these headphones for a little over 3 years now and they have been wonderful throughout those three years.

I've used them for some music recording but mostly for listening to music in my home, and a few times on the go.

For music listening they are wonderful. I don't have the money for better headphones, and although I would like a better pair (several audio-technica pairs have caught my attention) they are the best headphones I own. They produce sound exceptionally well, with clear highs and mids, and clear bass. If you are into really bassy music like hip-hop or dubstep, these may not be for you, the bass is nice for these genres but it isn't going to blow you away.

Like the other reviewer said, these headphones can be really uncomfortable, and they were for me up until recently. I don't know why but for almost three years I was positioning the band too short for my head. The position I was placing them seemed right but would cause some ear irritation after an hour or so of listening. Recently though I realized that I need to position them at a much longer length. Doing this has made them so much more comfortable. The ear pads are actually pleasant on the ears now. Even to the point that I listened to music for several hours without any discomfort.

So far these headphones have held up to some abuse with only one hiccup for the entire three years. That being the ear pads, which I was able to buy replacements for once I contacted audio-Technica.

Like the brand that sells these headphones, I'm liking them more and more with time. They are a real treat.

I've had these headphones for about 3-4years now and they have lasted a really long time and still sound amazing! However, these headphones are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. There is a ring on the inside of the cuffs that constantly pushes on your ears in a very uncomfortable way.. So much to the point I wouldn't even of purchased them if I knew, great sound quality or not. I find myself adjusting the position of the earphones every 5 or 10 minutes. Beware before you buy, search around for this model on the internet if you have anymore concerns, and you can see others having comfort problems, not only myself..
