Comments about Audio-Technica ATH-AD1000X Audiophile Open-Air Dynamic Headphones:

Alright folks... first off, let me just get this out of the way. If you have the money to spend on this remarkable example of headphones, buy them. There is no doubt in my mind that the quality of sound these 1000x's put out is the best I've ever heard. Period. I immediately took them out of the box and turned on "Heart of Courage" by Two Steps from Hell. This is no exaggeration by any means, I got goosebumps. I realized I have never truly listened to music before I got my 1000x's. I'm not an audiophile, just a regular guy that appreciates music.

Anyway, they are very light, extremely comfortable, and the sound they gave took me to a better place. People.... this is what perfection sounds like.

Sound is always subjective and each set of headphones will have their own sonic signature. I always recommend listening to them for yourself and see which will best suite your needs.
