    How is the bass on these headphones?

    Thank you for your inquiry. The frequency response of this headphone is actually below what you could actually hear at 15 Hz, so they will have plenty of low end.

    Is the sound isolation function in the M20x as good as the M40x? What are the db values of the two headphone's sound isolation?

    Thank you for your inquiry. These are both closed back, studio headphones so the do offer a degree of passive isolation although we do not measure that spec. Some headphone manufacturers do provide this spec in dB, although I believe this to be a meaningless spec, because the question is "dB of isolation at what frequency".
