    Impedance

Why 16 ohms instead of the standard 32 ohms?
Will this not cause problems with amplifiers designed around a 32 ohm load?

    Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. There is no standard for headphone impedance. Many are 16 ohm, while many others are 32 ohm. I'm not familiar with headphone amplifiers that are designed specifically for 32 ohm, so you may want to consult with the manufacturer of this equipment.
