I actually won these from an airline. Great audio quality, looks very good, noise-canceling feature is excellent. The only thing that would have made it better for me is if it were wireless.

Q:Brand new ANC70 headphones have very low volume and badly distorted sound. Volume problem and distortion disappears when the button on the left side (silver logo) is held down. Can the headphone be reset or is the wiring backwards on the phone button? What are the options besides returning to the store and buying a different brand?

Q:How do you change the battery on these headphones
A:Following is a link to the Instruction Manual for the ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint Headphones. The battery is located behind the right earcup (the one that DOES NOT have any controls or connections on it). The outer cover can be removed by pushing the cover upwards toward the headband to unlock it, then grasping the top edge of the cover and pulling it away from the headphones. See page 5 of the manual for an illustration of this.
