Audio-Technica's ATH-A700 closed-back dynamic headphones deliver audiophile-quality acoustic performance with full, rich balanced bass. The headphones feature proprietary large-aperture 53 mm drivers with neodymium magnet systems and CCAW voice coils. Equipped with A-T’s innovative self-adjusting wing support mechanism, the headphones offer long hours of remarkably comfortable listening.

I use these headphones for many things including solo instrumental recording/editing, watching TV, and listening to an iPod or other audio device. The headphones seem to give a true sound quality for the most part, but give almost perfect low end bass quality. They allow the user to become a true audiophile and shun things away that compress your music (you can tell with these). The comfort level is unsurpassed. You will never want to wear another set of headphones and can forget that you are wearing them all together. Overall they are great headphones, but I wouldn't wear them out in public because you'll look like an alien with them on.

I do location classical recording. Many times this will be choir festivals where I am recording 6-8 hours. The A700 headphones are accurate and true to the sound being recorded. Just as important they are very comfortable and seem to float on my head. I feel no tightness or pressure points and the balanced reproduction keep my ears from being fatigued.

I bought these awhile back, and they grow on you everyday.
The soundquality with a great soundcard with built-in amplifier just rocks my world.
They fit so well, and me as a gamer wear them for hours, it feels like they aren't on me.
And they can take a beating, have dropped them on the floor a couple of times, still works fine.
All in all 10/10
