Thank you for your inquiry. We cannot describe how to tell if a product is counterfeit or legitimate. There are some very good counterfeits and some very poor ones. We suggest that customers purchase only from authorized Audio-Technica dealers. Avoid dealers that ship from outside of the US and also avoid prices that too good to be true.

    • Q:

      Are these specialized for mixing?

I am a singer/songwriter. My neighbor complains and I am looking for something that I can mix with that will translate accurately when listening to as many different kinds of speakers as possible.

      Thx.

Although they sound GREAT, they are not specialized for mixing. Headphones that would be better are the ATH-M50's.

        GREAT QUESTION!

The best way to purchase any Audio-Technica product, is to get it through an Authorized Audio-Technica Dealer. Audio-Technica has a Dealer Locator on their homepage, www.audio-technica.com .

        PLEASE NOTE:
Audio-Cubes and Accessory-Jack are NOT Authorized Audio-Technica U.S. Dealers. Product purchased from either company might not be genuine, and does not come with an ATUS Warranty.
