Q:will the high resolution headphones work on my Moto x gen 2 smartphone and all other old equipments like my old ipod nano 3rd gen, my old toshiba laptop. If they work will they be giving me a better clarity than standard same range headphones by audio technica. Will the investment be a waste if my device cannot produce high resolution signals at the first place.
A:The ATH-SR5WH are analog headphones. Provided that your Moto X Gen2 has a 1/8th Inch (a/k/a 3.5mm) headphone output, then the ATH-SR5WH will work. The iPod Nano does feature a3.5mm headphone output, so the ATH-SR5WH are indeed compatible with it. Personally, the ATH-SR5 are one of my favorite headphones. Even if you do not have a Hi-Res player, they should still sound great.
