Audio-Technica appoints a Training and Product Support Specialist to work with its customers

Leeds 01-09-2009 Audio-Technica, the leading Japanese manufacturer of high-performance audio products for home and professional use has announced that Logan Helps has joined the marketing team in his new role as Training and Product Support Specialist.

The increasing presence of Audio-Technica in the UK marketplace is driving change in the business and this is reflected in this new appointment which will allow the Company to work more closely with its customers and to give them access to further layers of product knowledge. Logan will be the main customer technical and product support person within Audio-Technica and also responsible for both internal and external training.

Logan studied popular music and music theory at college whilst also working as a live sound engineer around the Yorkshire area, mixing live music for jazz, classical to rock and hip-hop music. At Leeds Metropolitan University he studied acoustics, psychoacoustics, speaker design, electronics studio practice, 5.1 mixing, film scoring, location recording and DSP programming. He then when on to set-up a media support service at Bradford University working with an audio studio, photography studios and video / lighting equipment for the broadcast media services before joining Audio-Technica in early 2005 to provide product and technical support.
