Audio-Technica Announces New Sales and Marketing Staff Appointments

Leeds 01-15-2009 Recent staff changes at Audio-Technica have seen the company strengthen its sales and marketing team in response to the demands of its customers. New recruit Ben Wood has been appointed Areas Sales Manager for London and the South, specifically catering to the needs of the MI market, while Audio-Technica’s existing Technical Support Manager Logan Helps joins the marketing team as Training And Product Support Specialist.

Helps has been with the company since 2005, following a Creative Music And Sound Technology degree at Leeds Metropolitan University. With a background in both live and studio engineering and broadcast media support he is well-placed to provide product training for Audio-Technica customers in his new role, and continuing to act as first point of contact for dealers’ technical and product queries.

“I have worked closely with our sales and marketing department on many projects in the last four years,” says Helps, “and I’m looking forward to broadening my role in offering extra support and training both for internal staff and customers.”

Wood also has a rich music industry background, with experience in management and promotion in the US, South America and the UK. Having more recently acted as sponsorship agent for some of the UK’s leading music festivals, Wood says, “I am excited to be joining the Audio-Technica team and in a position to work with some of the highest quality products within the music industry.”
