Audio-Technica U.S., Inc. announces the promotion of Karla Kakias to Manager, Human Resources.
In her new position, Kakias will work directly with company officers and department managers to create effective and cohesive human resource strategies. She will direct A-T’s hiring efforts and policies, salary administration, and benefits programs and will address key issues such as safety, training, and ensuring fair employment practices.
Recently designated a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Kakias joined Audio-Technica in 1997 as Administrative Assistant, Operations/HR and was named HR Generalist in 2002. She earned the PHR certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) after fulfilling HCRI’s requirements and successfully completing a rigorous exam.
