Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP120BK-USB Direct-Drive Professional Turntable (USB & Analog):

For years I was using the AT-LP60, a fine starter TT for any vinyl novice...I loved that thing until it finally just started to go in spots, I finally decided after the headshell kinda fell off that it was time to get a new TT. Sadly, I went with a UTurn at first, thinking their reviews were so good and they could make me a great sounding unit in GREEN. What could go wrong? Alot, actually. After returning that item and putting my LP-60 back into use, I realized I should've gotten it's big brother in the LP-120...

Well today that day has finally arrived, and the unit I call the Dank Tank is here. It's heavy, it's amazing, it sounds so lush, and correct. I cannot say enough how much I LOVE this TT! I will never ever leave the Audio Technica brand behind again, they just do such great work!

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP120BK-USB Direct-Drive Professional Turntable (USB & Analog):

Replacing a 40+ year old Technics direct drive and I love it. While shopping I wanted a turntable that could record my vinyl to other formats but read that by doing that I had to exclude any Blutooth turntables as they could not be set up to convert music via my computer. Well, after setting the AT-LP120BK-USB up and connecting it to my laptop via USB and starting to record, I thought I'd simultaneously try my laptops blutooth and see if I could sent the sound thru my Sound Bar. It worked perfectly, so now I can convert to other file types and I didn't have to buy a new set of speakers. This is a very nice turntable.

                    A:

Thank you for you inquiry. The turntable does not determine quadraphonic capabilities. You need a stylus that is capable of reproducing 27,000 Hz and your receiver must have the proper decoder.

Thank you for your inquiry. You will need a stylus capable of playing high frequency and your receiver must be able to decode the signal.

The "BK" represents the black color rather than the gray. There is no other difference to the turntable other than the color.

Since this turntable is fully manual, what happens at the end of playing a record? Does the arm lift and remain lifted or does it remain on the record?

When the tone arm arrives at the end of a record, it will stay in the locked groove which is the infinite groove at the center of the record.

I have never heard of a turntable with a volume control as they designed to be connected to a sound system or powered speakers. That is where the volume control is done.

                    A:

The AT-LP120-USB does not have an internal Bluetooth transmitter. You may use a third party Bluetooth transmitter which may be connected to the analog output of the turntable which will then allow you to connect to Bluetooth speakers.
