Q:is this the same as the AT-LP60-USB but in black? Thanks!
Q:Is it normal for the turntable to make a loud pop or snap sound each time you press the Stop button? It seems to function fine but the sound it makes as it disengages (just a guess) is terribly loud and ruins the whole experience for me.
Q:how many watts consumes this turntable?
Q:The height is shown as 3.84", but some sites show it as over 5 inches fully assembled. I have a small 4" opening for the turntable, but it is on a slider, so I can slide the shelf out to put on the album and play it. Will this turntable fit in a 4" shelf opening? Will the cover also fit? Thanks.
Q:Is there a way to fine tune the speed of this turntable? Both settings are slightly faster than 33 1/3 and 45 RPMS.
A:There is no way to manually change the speed on the AT-LP60BK. The cause of a slightly fast speed is typically due to the drive belt not being installed properly. This is not necessarily the user's fault. Remove the platter from the turntable and re-install the belt on the underside of the platter on the inner lip. Place the platter back on the turntable and put the belt on the brass motor pulley (located through the cutout on the platter at around the 10 o'clock position).
Q:My turntable seems to be spinning records slightly too fast - is there a way to adjust this?
Q:Is there a way to play 10" records on this turntable?
A:Yes you can! Set the turntable to 7'' which you can find right below the tone arm. You cannot use the automatic function however. You will manually need to set the stylus down on the record.
Q:is there user-controlled anti skate?
A:Unfortunately, there is no anti-skate on the AT-LP60.
Q:Is this product stand alone or does it require speakers?
A:The AT-LP60 is a stand-alone "turntable". It will require either a stereo receiver/amplifier, or Powered-Speakers. Stand-Alone Bookshelf Speakers will not work.
Q:Is it possible to use higher quality phono cartridges with this turntable? What type of cartridges can be used to upgrade the device?
A:The AT-LP60 turntables have a fixed cartridge and cannot be interchanged.
