    TWICE VIP AWARD 2016 WINNER
Cut the cord, keep the vinyl. The AT-LP60-BT gives you all the great features of our popular AT-LP60 fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable but with the added convenience of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. So you can set up your turntable in one room and listen to it in another without having to run a bunch of cables. Up to eight different pairs of speakers, headphones or other devices that utilize Bluetooth® wireless technology can be stored in the AT-LP60-BT’s memory. Once stored, a simple push of the turntable’s Function button is all that is required to connect the turntable to your chosen wireless device.

The AT-LP60-BT also gives you the option of operating it just like a regular turntable with a traditional wired connection. Either way – wired or wireless – you get outstanding audio with the ease of automatic operation: just push the Start button to begin playing a record, and the Stop button to lift and return the tone arm and shut off the turntable (the stop function occurs automatically when a record has played all the way through). A tone arm Lift button is also included to let you raise and lower the tone arm without stopping the turntable.

Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60-BT’s Dual Magnet™ cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the tone arm for assured performance and ease of setup.

The AT-LP60-BT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a dual RCA output cable (for wired connection) and a removable hinged dust cover. The turntable is available in black (AT-LP60BK-BT); white (AT-LP60WH-BT); and navy (AT-LP60NV-BT)

The main thing that I feel is missing is a latch to secure the tone arm.

The AT-LP60BT turntables are not designed to be connected to a computer. You may connect the analog output of the turntable to your computer, but is not supported.

Will the turntable transmit to something like a Harman Kardon BTA 10--not a speaker, but a bluetooth adapter that would connect to an RCA input in a receiver?

I recently purchased this appliance and it is the first record player I've owned without built in speakers. But there seems to be a very quite sound being produced by the player of the music at a very low sound. I was just curious if this was normal. You can't even hear it unless you are near the player, but I was curious. Thanks!

        A:

Yes, this speaker has been tested and works.

Issues with connection of Bluetooth are often due to one of the following setup issues:
        1. The turntable is not actually put into pair mode properly.
        http://blog.audio-technica.com/audio-solutions-question-of-the-week-how-do-i-connect-the-at-lp60-bt-wireless-turntable-to-headphones-and-other-devices-that-utilize-bluetooth-wireless-technology/

Please note that we have observed that with some blue tooth speakers you must make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices operating in close proximity. These days that could be a number of things such as smart phone, headphones, TV's and even refrigerators and other appliances. It seems these devices can cause some interference or confusion in the pairing process. Either turn these devices off or take the turntable and speaker to another room, free of blue tooth transmission and make the initial pair. Once paired, you should be able to resume normal activity with your devices. If you are still having an issue pairing, make certain there are no other 2.4GHz frequency equipment in close proximity (ie Bluetooth devices, wireless router, etc.) and additionally clear the other pairs of the speaker. (refer to the speaker manufacture on their process on doing so.)

        2. If the turntable does not show a SOLID BLUE LIGHT, the turntable is not paired and the issue may be within the speaker and some Bluetooth speakers may not pair. Usually Bluetooth speakers make some type of sound when they pair. Some make a different noise when they don't pair. For troubleshooting purposes, pair the speaker to a different device such as a smartphone. If the two sounds the speaker make are different, the speaker may not accept the pair.

        3. If the turntable shows a SOLID BLUE LIGHT, the turntable is paired to the speaker. Often, Bluetooth speakers have a multi-function button used to play/pause music or pickup and hang-up phone calls. Try pressing that button on the speaker and will sometimes mute the music playing through the speaker. You may confirm this function with your speaker manufacturer.

Please note that we are finding an incompatibility with some Bluetooth speakers. We have engineers looking into it. I recommend that you contact your place of purchase and either return the turntable for a refund (per the dealers policy) or swap the speaker for another brand and model.
