    TWICE VIP AWARD 2016 WINNER
Cut the cord, keep the vinyl. The AT-LP60-BT gives you all the great features of our popular AT-LP60 fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable but with the added convenience of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. So you can set up your turntable in one room and listen to it in another without having to run a bunch of cables. Up to eight different pairs of speakers, headphones or other devices that utilize Bluetooth® wireless technology can be stored in the AT-LP60-BT’s memory. Once stored, a simple push of the turntable’s Function button is all that is required to connect the turntable to your chosen wireless device.

The AT-LP60-BT also gives you the option of operating it just like a regular turntable with a traditional wired connection. Either way – wired or wireless – you get outstanding audio with the ease of automatic operation: just push the Start button to begin playing a record, and the Stop button to lift and return the tone arm and shut off the turntable (the stop function occurs automatically when a record has played all the way through). A tone arm Lift button is also included to let you raise and lower the tone arm without stopping the turntable.

Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60-BT’s Dual Magnet™ cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the tone arm for assured performance and ease of setup.

The AT-LP60-BT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a dual RCA output cable (for wired connection) and a removable hinged dust cover. The turntable is available in black (AT-LP60BK-BT), white (AT-LP60WH-BT) and navy (AT-LP60NV-BT).

Okay, I almost returned this record player b/c I couldn't sync it. Turns out you have to hold the bluetooth button down for 5+ seconds. It initially flashes blue/purple and acts like it's trying to sync. If you continue to hold it down, the button starts alternating blue and RED. Then, it synced up perfectly. Totally silly but hope this helps someone.

*** The Bluetooth function is terrible. Ive tried connecting it to three separate speaker systems to no avail. For example, do not count on this turntable to work wirelessly with a Bose Soundlink, sound-bar, or similar design. It appears to only work with speakers that you can actively manage from a computer screen. Really disappointing.

I had purchased this device to pair with my Onkyo TX-8160 receiver but although it showed it paired, no sound was forthcoming! In searching the Audio-Technica site I found numerous individuals had the same issue. I plugged in a BTunes Bluetooth transmitter into the audio out from the turntable and that not only paired but offered sound! Moral of the story is it turns out there are three flavors of Bluetooth and they are not necessarily compatible!

Like everyone else, I too got suckered into this turntable because of the BT. It took about 5 tries to get it to connect to my speaker system but it finally took. Then, without any reason, it stopped connecting to my speaker. Tried for hours to reconnect without success. I tried other BT speakers and it worked great. I checked my speaker and I can connect with other system great. The turntable and this speaker are just no longer on speaking terms.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP60BK-BT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable:

Great looking turntable, easy to set-up (it took me less than 5 minutes, although the red-ribbon got stuck to the tape and I had to put the belt on with my finger, but no big deal), which I bought for the BT feature, primarily. So, imagine my surprise when it came time to pair it with a Beats Pill 2.0. I figured this would also take less than 5 minutes: WRONG! After 40 minutes of tinkering with the BT button on the turntable, and having it lock on to BLUE, as well as hearing the Pill's synch sound effect, it still wouldn't transmit sound to the speaker. Finally, completely befuddled and frustrated, I gave up on the Pill and tried to synch my Amazon Echo. Since I could use the Echo's iPhone App to see/manage the turntable's presence on my WiFi network, I was able to select it once it came up (i.e., red and blue flashes on the BT light on the turntable) and it synch'ed to the Echo. After all that, it sounds great. However, for subsequent plays, you have to first press the BT button on the turntable to re-activate the connection (luckily, the Echo is always on, so no need to reactivate via the App every time, thank goodness!). The BT light stays solid blue throughout playback. The instruction manual doesn't specify this, big surprise, and word to the wise. In sum, had I known about all these BT debacles, I wouldn't have purchased this product. Caveat Emptor, consider yourself duly warned.

Great turntable for anyone starting out with vinyl! The sound does not noticeably change the Bluetooth option as compared to the wired option. The buttons don't seem to be too sturdy but then again I don't think most people would be constantly pressing the 'start' 'stop' button. It was also super easy to set up and pair with another Bluetooth device, though I would recommend that you check the Bluetooth version on the device you intend to pair this turntable with, the turntable uses BT 3.0 and i'm not sure if it's backward compatible. I bought a BT 3.0 adapter for my samsung Hi-Fi system (which did not have built-in bluetooth option) and it paired rather quickly the first time, after that it takes only a second to pair since the turntable's bluetooth can store about 8 connections (after that, the oldest connection is deleted to make room for a new one). Overall, I love this turntable!

When I saw that this turntable offered Bluetooth pairing, that closed the deal. Given that I own one of the most popular brands of wireless headphones out there (Beats Solo 3 Wireless) I was sure they would work.
                        Nope.
More disappointing is how hard it was to get AT to acknowledge this. My initial email to customer service was met with a copy and paste of the owners manual. Thanks guys. My second attempt to contact finally resulted with this response: "we have received reports that the turntable does not pair with Beats."
I was going to just keep it and accept no bluetooth for me, but now the sound is slowing down too, so I'm thinking it's time to return it.

This is a great product, I had a small problem hooking to my sound bar. After reading another review I found the instructions to be a bit incomplete. After holding the Bluetooth button for longer than the instructions said it connected right away. This product has great sound for the cost and is so simple to start my fiancé can operate it now. The extras that came with it( record cleaning kit, brush and extra stylus) are a great bargain. My daughter and I have been listening to this all morning and I am very impressed.

Looks like I'll be taking this back. Tried calling support, but, they close at 5pm EST. I live in Texas and just spent 1 hour with Bose trying to connect.

Can you completely remove the dust cover? The only place where I can put the player is a shelf that won't allow the dust cover to open all the way, which makes it really hard to switch out vinyls.

Sonos does not utalize Bluetooth wireless connection but rather wifi. You may connect the AT-LP60 models to your Sonos system via an analog connection such as a Sonos Bridge.

Technically yes. You may need to plug into a third party device such as a crossover that will properly send appropriate frequencies to the sub and left/right mains accordingly.

I'm new to turntables and vinyls...can you please let me know exactly what kind of vinyls are compatible with this turntable? For example, I know it is compatible with 33 & 45 RPM vinyls....but what about size? Does it play 7" / 10" / 12" - all of them? Like I said, I'm totally new to all of this, so if you could spell it out for me, I'd appreciate it. thanks!

You may play 7" and 12" records for automatic controls. You may play 10" records but must manually begin the record.

I am unable to pair the AT-LP60 via Bluetooth to my JBL Charge speaker. I can also not connect to my IPhone 6 or Windows 10 laptop. The only device I can pair with are Bluetooth headphones. Shouldn't I be able to pair with these other devices, particularly the JBL Bluetooth speaker?

No. The Turntable is a Bluetooth transmitter and not a receiver.

Would I be able to connect a typical stereo computer speaker system to this unit, the way you hook up speakers to a sound card in a desktop computer? I believe computers use a standard 1/8" jack.

Yes, you may connect the turntable to a stereo receiver or directly to powered speakers. Powered speakers indicate the speakers have their own power amplifier built into them and they will have their own power source. A good example of powered speakers are computer speakers or portable speakers that have an internal battery. I recommend going to your local electronics store and inquire of their stock of powered speakers and see which will best suit your needs.
