  • Overview

Cut the cord, keep the vinyl. The AT-LP60-BT gives you all the great features of our popular AT-LP60 fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable but with the added convenience of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. So you can set up your turntable in one room and listen to it in another without having to run a bunch of cables. Up to eight different pairs of speakers, headphones or other devices that utilize Bluetooth® wireless technology can be stored in the AT-LP60-BT’s memory. Once stored, a simple push of the turntable’s Function button is all that is required to connect the turntable to your chosen wireless device.

The AT-LP60-BT also gives you the option of operating it just like a regular turntable with a traditional wired connection. Either way – wired or wireless – you get outstanding audio with the ease of automatic operation: just push the Start button to begin playing a record, and the Stop button to lift and return the tone arm and shut off the turntable (the stop function occurs automatically when a record has played all the way through). A tone arm Lift button is also included to let you raise and lower the tone arm without stopping the turntable.

Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60-BT’s Dual Magnet™ cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the tone arm for assured performance and ease of setup.

The AT-LP60-BT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a dual RCA output cable (for wired connection) and a removable hinged dust cover. The turntable is available in black (AT-LP60BK-BT), white (AT-LP60WH-BT) and navy (AT-LP60NV-BT).

Danger BlueTooth MUST Connect to a "MANAGED RECEIVER"

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP60BK-BT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable:

    NOT HAPPY at ALL ...
BLUE TOOTH FUNCTION REQUIRES Being ACTIVELY MANAGED to SELECT DEVICE. Wont work with 2013 model SAMSUNG top line sound bar. Probably won't work via BT with sound-bars similar design. It appears to only work with speakers that you can actively manage from a computer screen.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP60BK-BT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable:

Overall the product works as expected. The automatic start and stop functions make life easy. I do wish it would have an on off switch as it is easy to accidentally turn it on while moving the tone arm or contacting the front buttons. I have only used it with the Bluetooth connections and the sound is great. All the richness of the vinyl shines through, provided you are within range. Also to setup the Bluetooth, as it states in the manual, if you read those things, you have to be no greater then 1m from the receiver or about 3 feet when you first pair the device. After the device is paired then you can move it a little further away. Overall I am very satisfied with the turntable and the ability to wirelessly connect to my home audio system a Yamaha receiver with Bluetooth dock YBA-10.

Bluetooth not as advertised... buyer beware

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP60BK-BT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable:

              Plus side -
              Very ascetically pleasing
              Easy to assemble and operate

              Down side -
The buttons are a made from a thin plastic, which will likely not contribute to a malfunction... but just feel cheap
*** The Bluetooth function is terrible. Ive tried connecting it to three separate speaker systems to no avail. For example, do not count on this turntable to work wirelessly with a Bose Soundlink, sound-bar, or similar design. It appears to only work with speakers that you can actively manage from a computer screen. Really disappointing.

                  A:

Sonos works off of it's own proprietary WiFi protocol so Bluetooth devices will not work directly with Sonos, however you can make almost any turntable with a built-in pre-amp (like the AT-LP60BK-BT) work with Sonos if you use a Sonos connect. If Sonos is the only speaker system you plan to use to listen to vinyl, then I would suggest using the base model, the AT-LP60, instead as this would be a more economical option.

While the Bluetooth is paired, will the RCA output work simultaneously? I want to have a wired connection next to the turntable, and a Bluetooth in another room and have them play at the same time. Thanks!
Asked on 5/20/2016 by Mike from West Virginia

                1 answer

                • CUSTOMER CARE

                  A:

The RCA and Bluetooth connections will work simultaneously.

HOWEVER, if one were to use the Bluetooth and Analog output at the same time, the user would likely experience "Latency" on the the Bluetooth Audio signal, which is normal. Latency is amount the time-delay experienced when a signal needs to be processed/converted from an analog to a digital signal, then back into an analog signal. In the case of this turntable, it will be the amount of time it takes to convert the vinyl analog signal into both a digital and wireless signal. Then the Bluetooth speakers/headphones would then need to receive the signal and re-convert the digital signal to analog audio for your speakers/headphones to play. That results in a time-delay which is normal, and occurs with all digital devices to varying degrees.

Additionally, most Bluetooth devices have a range of approximately 30' when there are no objects directly in between. Placing Bluetooth speakers in another room may-or-may-not result in wireless audio dropout or other errors. This is not unique to Audio-Technica. Our advice would be to try it. If you are getting adverse results, you'd know why.
