Cut the cord, keep the vinyl. The AT-LP60-BT gives you all the great features of our popular AT-LP60 fully automatic belt-drive stereo turntable but with the added convenience of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. So you can set up your turntable in one room and listen to it in another without having to run a bunch of cables. Up to eight different pairs of speakers, headphones or other devices that utilize Bluetooth® wireless technology can be stored in the AT-LP60-BT’s memory. Once stored, a simple push of the turntable’s Function button is all that is required to connect the turntable to your chosen wireless device.

The AT-LP60-BT also gives you the option of operating it just like a regular turntable with a traditional wired connection. Either way – wired or wireless – you get outstanding audio with the ease of automatic operation: just push the Start button to begin playing a record, and the Stop button to lift and return the tone arm and shut off the turntable (the stop function occurs automatically when a record has played all the way through). A tone arm Lift button is also included to let you raise and lower the tone arm without stopping the turntable.

Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60-BT’s Dual Magnet™ cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the tone arm for assured performance and ease of setup.

The AT-LP60-BT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes with a 45 RPM adapter, a dual RCA output cable (for wired connection) and a removable hinged dust cover. The turntable is available in black (AT-LP60BK-BT), white (AT-LP60WH-BT) and navy (AT-LP60NV-BT).

Overall the product works as expected. The automatic start and stop functions make life easy. I do wish it would have an on off switch as it is easy to accidentally turn it on while moving the tone arm or contacting the front buttons. I have only used it with the Bluetooth connections and the sound is great. All the richness of the vinyl shines through, provided you are within range. Also to setup the Bluetooth, as it states in the manual, if you read those things, you have to be no greater then 1m from the receiver or about 3 feet when you first pair the device. After the device is paired then you can move it a little further away. Overall I am very satisfied with the turntable and the ability to wirelessly connect to my home audio system a Yamaha receiver with Bluetooth dock YBA-10.

*** The Bluetooth function is terrible. Ive tried connecting it to three separate speaker systems to no avail. For example, do not count on this turntable to work wirelessly with a Bose Soundlink, sound-bar, or similar design. It appears to only work with speakers that you can actively manage from a computer screen. Really disappointing.

I had the same experience as the other reviewers. The turntable wouldn't pair with my speaker. In my case, it's a Blackstar ID:CORE BEAM. I've had 10+ bluetooth gadgets, including speakers and stereos, and this was the first time one completely failed. This product does not work as advertised. I tried to contact customer service, got an automated email response saying someone would contact me in 2 days, and then never heard from them. Returning the product and would not buy audio technica again.

Okay, I almost returned this record player b/c I couldn't sync it. Turns out you have to hold the bluetooth button down for 5+ seconds. It initially flashes blue/purple and acts like it's trying to sync. If you continue to hold it down, the button starts alternating blue and RED. Then, it synced up perfectly. Totally silly but hope this helps someone.

Sadly I made the assumption this would connect with the BOSE Soundtouch as it is latest technology I have only just purchased. I am happy with the product but feel ripped off that I paid more for a function that does not work and clearly by looking at other reviews not just with our speaker but many brands - and we're not talking about a cheap old technology speakers either.

Aside from the flimsy plastic buttons this is a great sounding and easy to use record player. I'm not sure why people are having trouble with the Bluetooth but it connects to not my LG Soundbar system and my portable Bluetooth speaker just fine without any problems. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Comments about Audio-Technica AT-LP60BK-BT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable:

I wanted to love this product. I was really looking forward to freeing up some real estate in my home by getting rid of bulky speaks and my receiver. I have gone through 2 AT-LP60BK-BT turntables and neither work with my existing bluetooth speakers or the new Harmon Kardon Onyx I bought thinking my other speakers weren't compatible. Customer service was responsive but they couldn't really help me other than direct me to troubleshooting videos I'd already watched. After turning off every other BT device in my house I still couldn't get it to pair. I consider myself tech savy and when I purchase a new BT speaker that matches the specifications recommended I expect a positive outcome. Tech also admitted that the pairing instructions in the manual aren't accurate...regardless, even if it is user error (me), it really shouldn't be this difficult to pair a device. Blah. Guess I'll keep kicking it analog.

BLUE TOOTH FUNCTION REQUIRES Being ACTIVELY MANAGED to SELECT DEVICE. Wont work with 2013 model SAMSUNG top line sound bar. Probably won't work via BT with sound-bars similar design. It appears to only work with speakers that you can actively manage from a computer screen.

Is it possible to connect this BT version to a computer to digitize records? In other words, are there any cord outputs that I can be used to connect this player to a computer?

Thank you for your inquiry. No it is not possible to connect this turntable to your computer to record your records. If you would like a turntable that can digitize your records and can also be connected wirelessly via bluetooth, I would recommend getting the AT-LP60BK-USB, and then purchasing a Bluetooth transmitter adapter like this one: https://www.amazon.com/BlueSENSE-Streaming-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Connection/dp/B008GVETNE
The LP60BK-USB has the option to be plugged into a computer via USB for digitizing your records, AND can be plugged into speakers, headphones, or a stereo receiver via RCA cables attached to the turntable. With the RCA-3.5mm female adapter cable we send with the turntable, you can plug the bluetooth transmitter adapter into the RCA adapter cable, pair the transmitter with your desired Bluetooth speaker, and you now have a Bluetooth wireless turntable!
Here is a video I found on youtube demonstrating how to use the bluetooth transmitter adapter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUEMwqD_YHY

No, the computer is a transceiver and the turntable may be connected to Bluetooth receiving devices such as headphones and speakers.

That is a great sounding speaker by the way I highly recommend it! We have not tested it with the JBL Pulse 2, but we have not heard of anyone having trouble with pairing it to our turntable.

Thank you for your inquiry. If connecting via Bluetooth you do not need a receiver. If using the hardwired output jack you do not if connecting to powered speakers. You can also connect to receiver via the hardwired output jack if you wish.

The tracking force is preset as the cartridge is permanently attached and negates the need for a user adjustable counter weight.

The RCA cable is permanently attached to the turntable and you may use a short RCA extension cord to extend if needed.
