Q:Is there a difference between the AT2020+ and AT2020USBi dimensions. I have the AT2020USBi and I need a shock mount for it. Will this shock mount hold it in place or would a different one be needed?
Q:Does this work for AT2020+USB or do i need to buy another shockmount?
A:I actually own both of these and it works just fine, it doesn't obstruct anything whatsoever.
A:Yes, the AT8458 will fit the AT2020USB+ microphone but may obstruct the front controls and headphone jack.
Q:Will this work with the AT2020USB+ ?
A:While not specifically designed for the AT2020USB+, rather the AT2020, it will fit the mic. However, this would limit your access to controls on the microphone body when hooked into the shock mount.
A:Yes, the body of the microphone will fit in the AT8458 Shock Mount. The headphone and controls on the microphone will be covered though.
Q:I just got the AT 8458 shock mount. Is there an version for a 3/8" thread studio arm or is there a similar shock mount made for these arms?
A:The 3/8-16" thread adapter is included with the purchase of the AT8458.
Q:How heavy is the shockmount?
A:0.20 lbs (3.2 ounces)
Q:Where do I find Audio-Technica Case Style R7
A:Case style relates to certain aspects of the microphones case (or housing). Things like the diameter and length of the case, whether it is is an end-address or a side-address type, the type of mount required (does it take a clip, a snap-in or slip-in type stand clamp, threaded swivel mount, shock-mount etc.) The case style of the AT2020 Microphone is R7. Any of our accessories such as windscreens, stand clamps and shock mounts whose description says "fits Audio-Technica case style R7" will be compatible with it.
Q:How do I put my microphone into this shock mount?
A:Slide the AT2035 directly into the top of the AT8458 shock mount. It should side into place, and when it is secured, then it is installed properly. As the microphone is inserted, the groove in the microphone will grab on to the bands, and thus secure the mic to the mount.
Q:Does this function on it's own
A:Thank you for your inquiry. This is just a shock mount. This must be connected to a microphone stand.
Q:Does it work with stand?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. As long as the stand has a standard 5/8 27 thread it should work.
Q:Does it Work with AT2020?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. Yes it will work with the AT2020USB.
