Comments about Audio-Technica AT8410a Microphone Shock Mount:

I just LOVE AT microphones, now you know ! AT 8410a is good ... but pricey.

I use it since many years: 2 x 4050, 2 x 4041, and 1 4040; and looking for a 4033 ! They are very good overall value and always good to very good results with that. The only negative point for me is the overpriced accessories ... like shock mounts. I had to buy on for a 20 years old 4050 : $$ ! And I need a AT 8410a for one of my 4041, and feel it pricy too ... And at last : if the elastic band is worn one one of these shock mount, you have to know that it is easy to buy a couple of feet of elastic band, and repair it yourself like I did ;-)

Will the AT8410a work with the AT815a microphone? I have an AT8415 shock mount attached to a boom and it is very noisy and isn't a secure fit at all. I've used gaff tape to try to hold it in place but that only helped a little. Thank you.
