        A:

The AT8647QM/S features a press-on/press-off switch that controls the microphone, muting it by 50 dB at 1,000 Hz. The circuitry also operates a light in the switch, powered by the 24-48V phantom source, to indicate when the mic is "on." Regardless of the switch position, the actual mic operating voltage will be approximately 10-12V less than the phantom source voltage. The mute switch cannot be programmed to momentary or any other type of mute function.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not make such desktop mount. We do make a desk stand with that configuration, the AT8666.

Is there a problem if a dynamic microphone receives phantom power?

The shock-mount plate AT8647QM/S needs phantom power for the mute switch, is there any problem if I use one AT808G Subcardioid Dynamic Console Microphone, which doesn´t require phantom power?
