Q:What are the dimensions.
Q:can the mute switch be programmed for momentary mute.
A:The AT8647QM/S features a press-on/press-off switch that controls the microphone, muting it by 50 dB at 1,000 Hz. The circuitry also operates a light in the switch, powered by the 24-48V phantom source, to indicate when the mic is "on." Regardless of the switch position, the actual mic operating voltage will be approximately 10-12V less than the phantom source voltage. The mute switch cannot be programmed to momentary or any other type of mute function.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. We do not make such desktop mount. We do make a desk stand with that configuration, the AT8666.
Q:Is this button a local mute switch, or designed for external mute via XLR5 or other contacts?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. This is a local mute function and uses a screw terminal for Audio +, Audio - and ground.
Q:Is there a problem if a dynamic microphone receives phantom power?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. Phantom power will not damage this microphone.
