    • Q:

what are the differences between the 8410a and the 8415?

I have the AT2005 that I'm using for podcasting and other educational video voiceovers. I won't be using a boom mike or such. I want to reduce the hissing from my computer and other things, as well as reduce the rumble from footsteps up and down the stairs next to my office. We've got a bunch of heavy walkers around here!

What are the differences between the two shock mounts and which would be best for my purposes?
      Thanks!

      • A:

Thank you for your inquiry. Athe AT2005 will not fit into the AT8410a. The diameter of the microphone is too big. It does work well with the AT8415.
