Comments about Audio-Technica MB 3k Handheld Hypercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone:
I felt in love with this mic the sound is just amazing and for my voice I have not been able to find a better mic, not even the more expensive so called standards mics can do the job the MB3k does.

Q:Is the MB 3k a dynamic or condenser microphone? I have this one and it only worked for me when I plugged it in to phantom power. It didn't work when I just plugged the mic into my keyboard amp. No sound. What is wrong the mic or the mic input on my keyboard amp? I know the dynamic mic doesn't need phantom power.
A:This microphone is a dynamic microphone. Plugging into a amplifier, such as a keyboard amp may not work as the input is probably a LINE level input rather than a MIC level. You may use the CP8201 impedance transformer to accomplish this.
Q:What is the SPL of the MB 3k Handheld Hypercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone microphone?
