Q:What is the cable end on the non microphone end? XLR or XLRM?
A:The included cable terminates to an XLRM end.
Q:Does this mic come with any mounts or how is it placed for best sound quality.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. There are no mounts. It is designed to sit on a hard surface boundary such as a table top. The microphone does have two key holes on the underside that will allow the microphone to be screwed down for permanent placement on a table top or even a wall.
