A:Yes, boundary microphones such as the U851R are often attached inside of the piano lid for piano pickup.

A:Thank you for your inquiry. There are no mounts. It is designed to sit on a hard surface boundary such as a table top. The microphone does have two key holes on the underside that will allow the microphone to be screwed down for permanent placement on a table top or even a wall.
