  • Overview

The new Engineered Sound®. Contractor-exclusive innovations for every acoustical challenge. And safe haven from RFI.

Equipped with Audio-Technica’s legendary electro-acoustic design innovations, the ES915SC18 is a wide-range miniature condenser microphone, 18" long, with a cardioid polar pattern and a mute switch/LED. This small-diameter gooseneck microphone provides highly flexible positioning while maintaining a well-contoured appearance. The microphone offers unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference thanks to UniGuard® innovations. The ES915SC18 also offers an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter that reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. A mute switch in the base lights when the mic is “on.” The microphone’s low-profile element provides a uniform cardioid polar pattern with 120º acceptance angle. The microphone can be mounted on a podium or desktop with the included AT8474 low-profile isolation mount, which attenuates noise, shock and vibration transmitted through the mounting surface.

    • Q:

Where do I measure my current eleven "ES915S" gooseneck microphones? The entire mic is 18" long, but from top of mic to top of base is 15." These were bought for our 11 chair Commission Dais in 2009.

The Commissioners lean back in their chairs as a meeting drags on. Three more inches of mic length would help. Thank you.
