Q:Is there a direct replacement or comparable replacement for audio technica ATM25LE
A:Yes, the ATM25LE was the exact same as the ATM25 with the Limited Edition color.
Q:Is the ATM25/LE discontinued?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The ATM25/LE was a limited edition product and only a certain number were manufactured. We have no more left in stock. You may run across a dealer that still has one, but I would have no way to know who does.
Q:Possibility of instrument mounting
A:The ATM25/LE weighs 13.8 oz. Add the weight of an XLR cable, and the weight would easily exceed 1lb. This is why there is no instrument mount for the ATM25. However, there is a much better microphone for this application. The ATM350 is designed for use as a clip-on instrument microphone. It is a durable microphone, and only weights 0.5 oz. (that's correct, a half an ounce) and comes highly recommended for trombone use. If you would still like to use the ATM25, it will definitely need to go on a microphone stand.
