Q:The male xlr connector on my 4100 broke. So i go to replace it and find only 2 wires coming from the mic, and they have continuity! Where is the shield wire and how do the TIP and RING wires have continuity??
Q:How come such low sensitivity compared to the Beyerdynamic dynamics?
A:Output level is not good or bad: it comes from many parameters and optimizations. If you have a good preamp and you use the mic for singing, a medium output level is not a problem. It soul be a problem of you would plan to use it for classical music recording, but it isn't made for that!
A:Thank you for your inquiry. This is a very hard question to answer. Not every company utilize the same method of measurement. Also, if you are comparing to a condenser microphone, sensitivity will be much lower.
Q:Does this use rare earth magnets like the ATM61HE
A:The accompanying literature with my ATM410 says Hi-Energy neodymium magnet.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The AE4100 does use a neodymium magnet.
