    • Q:

Do you have floor mic stands available for the AT2020USB+. I need something other than the table stand that it comes with because I'm setting up a homemade VO studio and can't keep my computer and mic on the same surface due to feedback. I looked around and can't seem to find anything because the mic has a very wide base. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

        A:

The swivel mount that is provided with the AT2020USB+ Microphone can be attached to any floor stand that has standard 5/8"-27 threads or to a tripod stand or boom pole that has 3/8"-16 threads (by using the provided screw-in adapter). We do not manufacture floor stands.

        Thank you for your inquiry.

All Audio-Technica USB products utilize the standard USB CODEC drive which is provided by the computer's operating system. This allows for "virtually" any USB device to work on "virtually" any computer. Audio-Technica USB products have been tested with the Windows OS up through Windows 10 and do work.

        Thank you for your inquiry.

While you can adapt from analog (XLR) to digital (USB) with the proper adapters, you cannot adapt the opposite direction.

      ATR2500 vs 2020USB+

I own the ATR2500USB and am wondering if it would be worth moving on to the AT2020USB+. I'm still semi-new at determining how good a microphone is, so if someone could give me a good anser, I'd appreciate it.
Asked on 2/11/2015 by daveycracker80 from Painesville

      1 answer

      • A:

The AT2020USB+ features a studio-quality condenser element, but the ATR2500USB is no slouch. The AT2020USB+ is built with higher quality components and will be considered an upgrade from the ATR2500USB. However, which microphone ultimately sounds better is something for the user to determine.

Therefore, if you are satisfied with your ATR2500USB, then stick with it. If you are looking to upgrade, then the AT2020USB+ is your microphone.

        Hope this helps!

      Use with iPhone

I see another question asks about use with iPhone, but this question asks only about using it via USB. Would it be possible to use the Headphone Output of the AT2020USB+ with some kind of 3.5mm audio crossover cable to wire the headphone output to the iPhone mic input? If so could someone please kindly point me to a cable?
      Asked on 10/30/2014 by HSte

      1 answer

      • A:

You cannot use the AT2020USB+ via a 3.5mm connection. The signal is already in digital form when it leave the microphone's USB connection.

    • Q:

      AT8458 shock mount

Does the AT8458 shock mount allow the AT2020USB+ mic to be used in an inverted position?
      Asked on 2/18/2014 by Antonia

      1 answer

      • A:

Due to the location of the headphone output, headphone volume, and the mix control for the AT2020USB+, the AT8458 is not an ideal shockmount for the AT2020USB+, as it will block access to those ports. However, the better choice for your setup is the AT8471 Microphone Isolation Stand Clamp. The AT8458 will work well with all other versions of the AT2020.

        Thanks!
