Q:Do you have floor mic stands available for the AT2020USB+. I need something other than the table stand that it comes with because I'm setting up a homemade VO studio and can't keep my computer and mic on the same surface due to feedback. I looked around and can't seem to find anything because the mic has a very wide base. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
A:The swivel mount that is provided with the AT2020USB+ Microphone can be attached to any floor stand that has standard 5/8"-27 threads or to a tripod stand or boom pole that has 3/8"-16 threads (by using the provided screw-in adapter). We do not manufacture floor stands.
Q:Is it compatible with windows 8.1
A:Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:How would I connect this microphone to a DSLR camera? the camera has a 3.5mm port for external microphones but this microphone has a USB cable. Are there products available to adapt these?
A:Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:ATR2500 vs 2020USB+
A:The AT2020USB+ features a studio-quality condenser element, but the ATR2500USB is no slouch. The AT2020USB+ is built with higher quality components and will be considered an upgrade from the ATR2500USB. However, which microphone ultimately sounds better is something for the user to determine.
Q:Is The AT2020 XLR Better then this mic?
A:If by better you mean does it sound better, no it does not. They are the same microphone, they just have different types of output connectors.
Q:plugging at2020 usb+
A:Thank you for your inquiry. No this will not work. It is made to connect to a USB input on a computer system.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. I have no idea about Linux. We provide no drivers for the microphones. We use the USB Audio Codec that is standard with Windows and Mac.
Q:My USB cord accessory broke, what do i do?
A:Please contact our Parts Department for assistance obtaining a new USB cable for your microphone. Parts may be reached by phone at (330) 686-2600 ext 5002 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q:Use with iPhone
A:You cannot use the AT2020USB+ via a 3.5mm connection. The signal is already in digital form when it leave the microphone's USB connection.
Q:AT8458 shock mount
A:Due to the location of the headphone output, headphone volume, and the mix control for the AT2020USB+, the AT8458 is not an ideal shockmount for the AT2020USB+, as it will block access to those ports. However, the better choice for your setup is the AT8471 Microphone Isolation Stand Clamp. The AT8458 will work well with all other versions of the AT2020.
