Q:Could Audio-technica provide a supported/recommended source (along with item#) and AWG recommendation for the 5 conductor cable to be used with these mics? I've struggled a little finding cable with the exact number of pairs (don't want to deal with extra pairs) and what AWG would be good. We want to use quality cable to integrate this mics.
Q:I need to connect a male XLR end to the stripped wire end of the U891RC boundary mic. How do I do that?
Q:Hi. I want to the 5-condutor shielded end of the cable to be a female XLR so I can connect it to a mixer or DAW. How do I do that?
A:Thank you for your inquiry. I assume that you just need the audio portion of the cable, so pin 1 is ground, pin 2 is audio plus and pin 3 is audio minus, which is the same as a 3 pin XLR.
Q:U891RC replacement cable
A:You may obtain a replacement cable through our Parts Department at Parts@atus.com.
