A:Answering my own question; I found the specification later in one of the support documents (PDF) for this item. The body/shaft has a diameter of 21mm.
Q:about Audio Technica BP4025 output
A:The mic has a left and right output cable adapter so you plug into input 1 left and input 2 right. Yes with a SD 702 recorder you should set inputs 1 and 2 to Link so input 1 knob is gain and input 2 knob is pan.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. The BP4025 is an XY stereo microphone (left and right) and not a mid side mic (cardioid and figure of eight. The stereo image is fixed. Your options for a 2 track recorder would be left and right channels, where you could adjust the volume and the pan of each channel.
