    • Q:

Though I'm sure it varies, what is minimum to typical distance that mic will pick up for a choir singing. Also how high over their heads should it be (like 4 feet)?

        A:

Thank you for your inquiry. This is very hard to answer because it depends on many things such as the acoustics of the room, volume of those singing, background noise level, number of singers and number of mics being used. I suggest that you contact our Audio Solutions at 330-686-2600 ext 5000 with additional information.

    • Q:

Audio-Technica Pro 45 very low pickup

I have installed the Pro45 above our stage in the small hall we have in our school hoping to pickup our children when speaking. However, it picks up nothing unless you practically speak in to it from 1-2" away.

I have a Phantom Power supply (48v) feeding it.

      Do you have any suggestions?

      RF interference

Our church is about 2 miles from a strong AM radio station transmitter. We're picking up interference on this mic. We didn't get it with the previous mic or with other mics/cables in the system. Any suggestions on what we can do? Thanks
