      Hello,

I'd like to split the audio output of the receiver so I it can be sent to two different devices (two computers). I found the a "Y-adapter" that says it is for mono applications and uses a TSF tips. Are TSF tips the correct ones to use?

      Thanks!

    • Q:

Can the microphone select different frequencies?

I have an audio-technica PRO 88W/T wireless microphone transmitter and receiver. The receiver can operate on two frequencies: 169.505 and 170.305. I noticed that the Audio-Technica ATW-T802 VHF Wireless Handheld Transmitter operates on the 169.505 frequency and several others.

Can that microphone work with the PRO 88 W/T? If not, I have a wireless receiver that works with the other frequencies and would like to know if the microphone can change channels.

      Thanks,

No. With wireless systems, it is common practice that you will need to use the matching transmitter with the receiver.

Hello, I just purchased this microphone and it only plays back in the left speaker. I checked my camera and without the mic it plays back in both speakers, so it's definitely the microphone. What do I need to do to make the playback come out of both speakers? I can see on the levels that it's not recording on the right side.

    • Q:

Can I buy this system with two microphones? What is the model # of the mic that comes with this system if I wanted to buy an extra?
Asked on 5/6/2016 by Doug from Spencer, IN

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

Traditionally, with any wireless system, you can only pair one microphone to a receiver at a time. So in this case, you need to buy two sets. However, you can buy the transmitter separately if you wanted a spare. The model # for the handheld only is the ATW-T802-(frequency band). It is important to note with the System 8: you can only operate up to three at a time, and each one must be on a different frequency band (we have T2, T3, and T8). For example, you could not operate two ATW-802-T2's, you'd need to buy ATW-802-T2 and ATW-802-T3 (or T8).
