Audio-Technica’s System 10 is a digital high-fidelity wireless system designed to provide performing musicians and presenters with advanced 24-bit operation, easy setup and clear, natural sound quality. Operating in the 2.4 GHz range, far from TV and DTV interference, System 10 offers extremely easy operation and instantaneous channel selection. Up to eight channels may be used together without any frequency coordination problems or group selection issues. System 10 receivers and transmitters offer an easy-to-read digital ID display.

System 10 wireless ensures clear communications by providing three levels of diversity assurance: frequency, time, and space. Frequency Diversity sends the signal on two dynamically allocated frequencies for interference-free communication. Time Diversity sends the signal in multiple time slots to maximize immunity to multipath interference. Finally, Space Diversity uses two antennas on each transmitter and receiver to maximize signal integrity.

Featuring stackable, contemporary styling, System 10 is available in multiple system configurations, with handheld vocal microphone/transmitters and UniPak® body-pack transmitters designed for use with lavalier, headworn and instrument microphones as well as electric guitars. Each configuration includes the ATW-R1100 receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or handheld microphone/ transmitter. The ATW-R1100 is a digital receiver offering volume control along with AF Peak and Pair indicator lights.

Comments about Audio-Technica System 10 Stack-mount Digital Wireless Systems:

the quality of sound is very good, but the microphone is almost un usable. If it is not in a mic stand and is being held in the hand you can hear every little movement of the fingers and hands.

Comments about Audio-Technica System 10 Stack-mount Digital Wireless Systems:

Lavalier model. Installed in small church, mic up front, receiver way in back. No interference, good signal, good sound. Lapel clip not as pictured. Wire spring on lapel clip that's supposed to hold mic lacks springiness, so just threaded wire through clip. Oh well. Set up easy, works great, good signal, no noise, no interference. Like the mute button feature on transmitter.

Comments about Audio-Technica System 10 Stack-mount Digital Wireless Systems:

The system has excellent quality and I have had no interference problems with it. I was getting a little extra white noise at one venue, but it ended up being an EQ issue that was resolved on the board. Otherwise, the system has served me well for both live music and DJ'ing weddings. Speeches sound just as good as live vocals over a 6 piece band. Looking to buy another system soon!

Hi I have ATW-T1001 transmitter, I WANT TO USE rechargeable AA batteries with it, kindly advice the specifications that which rechargeable batteries goes perfect with it.

2nd question: How many of ATW-T1001 I can hook up with one ATW-R1700 receiver.

                Thanks

                  A:

For rechargeable batteries, we can only suggest trying a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) type battery. One that has a milliamp (mAh) rating of at least 2300 mAh should provide a run time that is comparable to the run time specified for non-rechargeable alkaline type batteries. Be aware that most rechargeable AA batteries do not have a true 1.5 volt capacity,1.2 volts is more typical.

Only one ATW-T1001 Transmitter can be used at a time with one ATW-R1700 Receiver. You can pre-pair up to 8 transmitters with the receiver, but you must turn the one in use off before the next one can be turned on. The receiver will recognize the next transmitter right away. You will not have to pair it again. If you need to operate two microphones/transmitters at the same time, you will need a second complete system (transmitter and receiver). For the camera-mount system, we make receiver holder, the AT8691 Camera Shoe Dual Mount, that will hold two receivers back-to-back. It includes an 11 inch dual mono stereo coiled cable (dual 3.5 mm mono mini-plugs to single 3.5 mm stereo mini-plug), allowing you to use one receiver to capture left channel audio, the other to capture right channel audio and feed both into the camera's audio input.

I have (6) Sys 10 Pro with some lavs and some handhelds. My mics seem to run through batteries faster than i expected based on specs. I've been getting under 4 hrs of use on fresh batteries in the lavs. I tried Quantum AA after using Procell. Is this normal? Can lowering transmitter power give a better battery life? We are typically under 100' transmitting distance. Thx

                p.s. Love the mics -

                  A:

No, transmitters usually offer 5v-9v of bias voltage which is often not enough to power condenser microphones. Condenser microphones that are used with wireless systems often have additional circuity in them to allow them to power up via lower bias voltage.
