will this work on Audio-Technica ATW-T701 transmitter?

    sandy

Yes, you may use any Audio-Technica wireless microphone that ends in the code "cW" which indicates the cable properly terminates with the 4 pin HRS connection used on your Audio-Technica UniPak transmitter. An example is the PRO92cW.

Is it possible to "hard-wire" the PRO 92CW mic into a regular XLR cable? I would like to create a cable that will let me use this mic in a wired mode and not use the wireless transmitter. I already have a HIROSE 4-pin male jack and just need to know the proper pinouts.

Thank you for your inquiry. In order to use your wireless Pro 92cW as a "wired" microphone, you will need the AT8539 power module: http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/electronics/f43811c5fb5c7459/index.html You will need to plug the mic into the 4 pin HRS end of the power module, and then connect the power module via XLR cable to your mixer.

I am using the Pro92cW with the System 10 wireless transmitter. Can I get a replacement windsock for this mic?It is beige in colour

    I am an audio engineer

Thank you for your inquiry. The windscreen is the AT8158-TH (for beige).

I am told that the PRO 92cW-TH transmitter does not have a "mute" button or "standby". Is this fact ? I have to be able to "mute" or turn on/off the headset during a performance. Is there a on/off power switch on the transmitter .. I also was told there is not an on/off power switch on the receiver ?!

    Tommy

Thank you for your inquiry. That is correct the PRO 92cW-TH is just the microphone, not a transmitter. This needs to be plugged into a wireless transmitter(body pack). All of our wireless receivers in our various wireless systems have on/off switches, however depending on what wireless system you are using will determine whether or not the transmitter the mic is plugged into has a mute button or not. I am having trouble attaching the mic to the ATW-T1001 transmitter. It has worked fine until it disconnected. For some reason, I cannot make it go back together.

Is this mic for singing or would it be better to go with a dynamic mic?

    Batya

We typically recommend other models for singing. It does not have to be a dynamic model however. For a headworn microphone of this style, I recommend the BP892cW (omni condenser). Other suitable models are the ATM73cW (cardioid condenser) and the PRO 8HEcW (hypercardioid dynamic). The ATM 73cW and the PRO 8HEcW are good choices for noisey or feedback prone environments.

I'm having problems with stability does Audio Technica make any rubber adaptors for the part that goes around the ear to stabilize the microphone into one place? The collar attachment is already being used... other ministers that speak at our church are having issues with it wanting to flop away from there face while preaching. Thank you for your help with this matter!

    newhopejosh

Thank you for your inquiry. Most often this is caused by not leaving enough slack between the collar clip and the microphone.
