How do you clean and maintain the brush?

Thank you for your inquiry. Either compressed air or a sticky lent brush.

In reference to the first question/answer about using the brush without cleaning solution, does "can be used for routine upkeep and care" mean you can use it dry, or do you need to use cleaning solution?

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you may use it dry, although it will not be as effective.

Can the AT6013 be effectively used to remove dust and dirt while using the brushes only without the solution?

Depending on the condition of the records, the AT6013 is used for routine record upkeep and care.

What is the correct way to use this brush?

Thank you for your inquiry. There is a direction arrow on the side of the brush, that is the direction you want it to flow across the record. It is just about wide enough to cover all the grooves in one pass. If you have the platter on a moving turntable, make sure the brush is aimed correctly, into the vinyl as it comes to the brush. In other words, make sure the brush is advancing across the circumference of the record using the arrow as a directional guide.

What is the difference between AT6011 and AT6013?

Thank you for your inquiry with Audio-Technica. The AT6011 has only a single row of carbon fibre brushes. The At6013 has two carbon fibre brushes and a velvet pad that runs between the two rows of brushes.
