  • Overview

The ATW-DA49 is a UHF (wide-band 440-900 MHz) active unity-gain diversity antenna distribution system that enables one pair of antennas to feed multiple wireless systems. Provides two “1-in, 4-out” RF channels; connects a pair of antennas to as many as four wireless receivers. Either passive or active antennas may be used. Both input jacks offer switchable +12V DC output on their center pins to operate Audio-Technica powered antennas or other in-line RF devices if desired. The unit features all-metal construction for extreme durability and protection from radio frequency interference.

The ATW-DA49 is designed to complement Audio-Technica 2000 and 3000 Series wireless systems. It is also suitable for many other wireless systems operating within the 440-900 MHz range.

Includes ten RF cables, front-mount antenna cables and connectors, four DC power cables, +12V DC desktop power supply with detachable IEC power cable, and ATW-RM1 rack-mount hardware kit to permit attachment in a standard 19” rack space.

Would it be supported to use one pair of LPDA Antennas (ATW-A49) with an active splitter (ATW-49SP) to provide equal signalling for two distribution systems (ATW-DA49)?

    Yes it would.

I have 6 C band receivers that I need to connect. Is it possible to connect 2 ATW-DA49 units together?

I want to use 13 receivers (ATW 3211), how many of DA49 do i need? Also, is there anywhere i can find a diagram of how to connect the DA49 with the receivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. This site is designed to answer questions for the Americas. Please see the below link to find the Audio-Technica office responsible for your part of the globe. They will be happy to help.

I have four R3100b receivers I am considering using with this distribution system. Two receivers are C-band and two are D-band. Are there any issues with connecting two different bands to one distribution unit? Can a set of antennas from one of the R3100b receivers be connected to the front mount antenna inputs for the ATW-DA49 unit, or does a different set of antennas have to be used?

With multiple frequency bands, I would recommend using the ATW-DA49 Wide Band Distribution Amp which will accommodate both of your bands. For antenna, you will also need to use a set of wide band antenna such as the ATW-A49. While this may not be ideal, you may also use a set of antenna from each band that feed into the ATW-49SP which will feed both signals into the ATW-DA49.

Will the ATW-DA49 antenna Distribution work with the 4000 series wireless systems?

It works with the Audio-Technica Artist Elite Wireless AEW-4240??

    Luis Gallego

Yes, you may use the ATW-DA49 with your Artist Elite wireless system.

How do I connect two of these units to service 7 mics?

Please contact our Audio Solutions Department at (330) 686-2600 ext 5000 or at for assistance with this.

Can you use two 3000 recievers and an M3 monitor transmitter with the same ATW-DA49 simultaneously?

The DA49 is an antenna distribution for compatible wireless receivers, including the 3000 Series ATW-R3100(b). One can connect up to four compatible receivers to a DA49. The antenna combiner for the M3 is the MCB4. One cannot connect an M3-T (transmitter) to a DA49. If you have any further questions, please contact the Audio-Technica United States (ATUS) Audio Solutions Team at: Thanks!

Which Joining plate do I use to join a 3000 transmitter with a ATW-DA49?

You may order the AT8630 through an Authorized Audio-Technica Dealer.
