Microphone sound quality is good. Pity about the cable.

We use these mics in church. Sound is good but cable is quite delicate and soon strands of wire snap so that when the cable moves the sound crackles and bangs. Tight bends in the cable are unavoidable in use. Doubt this is covered by the two year guarantee. We use these because they are best value. More expensive mics have the same poor cable. A stiffer cable would make all the difference.

Re-Our church sound system. Our Audio Technica AT-829 mic was wired to 4 pin mini XLR connector and used with a Mipro ACT707TE transmitter. The connector was broken off and now we have a cable with 3 wires RED/Yellow/Shield(GND). Please identify these three wires so that the AT-829 can be reconnected to the XLR connector. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks; Peter
