    Not much compliance information

    3

I had bought the AT92 to replace an old Dual cartrige in a Dual turntable and found the same problem as other user, sits to low. Also it skiped tracks very often. I really did not know what the problem was. Then I changed the the AT92 and placed a ATCN5625AL with the stilus AT3600L, wich is a low compliance. Problem solved. So I my guess is that the AT92ECD is a high compliance, as I tried it also in a Denon DP300F (medium mass tonearm) and skiped all the time. Also found that the Dual tonearm is a high mass arm. I would recommend it if I were sure that it is high compliance so it matches well with a low mass tonearm.

Good upgrade from budget original equipment

The sound is good, better than the one that comes on the Denon DP300F, with good trackability. I found it with 1.2 g best. With 1.5g the cartridge sits to low and almost (sometimes if wobble or warp) touches the record, so I am not sure if this is ok with VT angle or with wearing sooner or in bad angle.

I have a Technics SL-5 Direct Drive Turntable that is currently using a Shure M92E cartridge , what would you recommend as an Audio Technics replacement

    Chuck

Thank you for your inquiry. The AT3482H/U would be a good replacement.

The AT92ECD is a moving magnet.

Will this AT92ECD or CN5626Al work well in old Technic SL20. Suggest please. Thanks

    Ratan

Thanks for your inquiry. Both cartridges will work on your turntable, but I would recommend going with the AT92ECD.

Have a 30 year old Technics SL-B200 turntable - is the AT92ECD the right replacement for this cartridge system? Thanks, Dean C.

    DC

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this will work on the Technics SL-B200 turntable.

We this work with an Akai AP-B20 TT?

    Mark

Thank you for your inquiry. It appears that your turntable has a half inch mount so this will not work. I have read others using our AT95E on this turntable.

Will the AT92ECD be a good replacement for my AT216EP cartridge? Thank you.

    Ken

Thank you for your inquiry. The AT311EP would a closer match.
