Part of the 600 Series in Audio-Technica’s new VM cartridge line – a line that harks back to A-T’s early days as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges – the VM610MONO is equipped with dual magnets that are internally connected to reduce record noise and obtain a highly focused “center” sound image that stereo cartridges can’t provide. Includes mounting hardware.

Hello will the Audio Technica VM610MONO be ok with 1980s Mono re-issue vinyl, ie the Franklin Mint Big Band recordings, or are they not true Mono? Thanks

I have an Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB Direct-Drive Turntable with accompanying stereo stylus and have recently become aware of the benefits of also having a mono stylus. Is your VM610MONO Stereo Turntable Cartridge for Mono LP compatible with this Turntable? How would I switch out the cartridges and would it be difficult or potentially hazardous to the cartridges?

    Hugh

Yes, you may use the VM610MONO with the AT-LP120-USB Turntable.
