Does this headphone have mic to talk on the phone and for gaming please answer it fast so that I can order it right now.

These ones do not. You are looking for the ATH-AX5is. These ones have a microphone. We also have gaming headsets too! For a full list of our headphones/earbuds with a microphone, go here (sorry in advance for the long URL) http://www.audio-technica.com/cgi-bin/product_search/headphones/headphones_cat.pl?select_multiple_3=Headphones%20with%20Microphones&lang=eng

The description of the Audio technica ath-ax5 says it is not smartphone compatible? So will not totally work with smart phones or is it just that the inline mic and volume controls are absent?

Are these good for audio mixing? Hi, I just bought these pair of headphones because they were on sale. I wonder if they are good for audio mixing? I'm not working at studio, just do some basic video and audio editing at home. Thanks.

How do these compare to the ATH-M30x? I am currently a first time buyer of over-ear headphones, stepping up from in-ear headphones, and I cannot seem to find any reviews on this set. I am looking at buying either these or the ATH-M30x, a set that seems highly rated. How would these two fair against each other for an on-the-go, looking for high quality music kind of guy? I will mostly use them for an iPod, but may also use in a mixer.

The ATH-M30x headphones are studio-monitoring headphones, and are designed to sound accurate. They have nice clear highs, mids, and lows. As compared to the AX5, the AX5 had nice low-mids and low freqencies. If you have any intent of using headphones with a mixer, then I would automatically recommend the ATH-M30x. If you have any further questions or for any further correspondence, please contact the ATUS (Audio-Technica United States) Audio Solutions Team at audio-solutions@atus.com, and include both your original question and this response. Thanks!
