    Good clarity and bass

I am using this since few days. I feel headband is overly tight and causes discomfort to my ears no matter how soft padding they have put. other than that sound quality is quite good.

  • Q & A

hi I'm looking for a FR graph for this model Any ideas? Thanks

The frequency graphs are not commonly distributed with headphones because with any transducer, the environment has to be taken into consideration. For example, when the slightest change is made to a headphone, such as different material of earpads, the sound is changed. That is why most headphones have a stock earpads and any other "optional" earpad is not sold by the manufacturer. Also, frequency graphs for headphones are not visually cohesive to what they sound like. Many frequency curves while sounding flat and giving a true representation of the original source, similar to the ATH-M70x headphones, have a non-flat visual curves. For this reason, a frequency graph is not available.

Are the WS77 "over-ear" ear cups supra-aural or circumaural? In other words, do the ear cups cover the entire ear or sit partially on the ear? I have avg size ears. Are the ear cups anything like the M50s?

Thank you for your inquiry. They are over the ear headphones.

Are these for studio use or jammin out? Studio headphones have a very flat response which is good for certain applications, mainly for music production, but is not typical of what people are looking for as far as causal listening. Are these designed for studio use or walking down the street and jamming out?

The ATW-WS77 would be more-so intended for casual listening. However, that doesn't preclude them from being used in the studio, if they meet your needs. In that case, the WS77 would likely require a step-up headphone adapter to get from 3.5mm stereo to 1/4" stereo. Thanks!

ATH-ANC29 vs. ATH-WS77 in noise-cancelling and bass. If I'm looking for both a noise-cancelling feature and a nice bass, which headphones would be better for me?

Headphones are a personal preference. Go to for our entire line of noise canceling headphones.

ATH-WS77 Vs ATH-WS70 What are the differences between the ath-ws70 and the ws77 I know the 70 is discontinued and the 77 is its successor but what improvements if any have been made. I currently have the ath-m50 and I want to buy the 77 but I can get the 70s for a great deal and was interested

Thank you for your inquiry. The ATH-WS77 is a new design and are lighter in weight.

Is it good with High Fequent music I have my own youtube channel and I daily make Pro Dubstep electro dance and other types of music and I listen to them everyday to see but I want to Most Perfection out of my Headphone and most best quilty but also want them to last a long time

Thank you for your inquiry. These are capable of producing sound at frequencies above human hearing capability.

which is better in: bass, sound quality, and comfort? the ATH-WS77 vs ATH-PRO500MK2RD

Thank you for your inquiry. That is a very subjective question, but from perspective I would say the ATH-PRO500MK2RD would be the better of the two in theares you mention.
