Orlando, FL 06-07-2006 INFOCOMM — Audio-Technica U.S., Inc. recently held its ninth One-Day Charity Sale promotional event with $16,000 in proceeds going to non-profit organizations. A number of worthy groups have been named as beneficiaries of this annual drive, which A-T created to raise awareness and support for charitable organizations serving a broad range of community needs. This year’s recipients included:

The American Red Cross — a humanitarian organization that helps millions of people each year prevent, prepare for and cope with emergencies.

America's Second Harvest — a U.S. hunger-relief organization that distributes food to millions of hungry Americans through a network of food banks and food-rescue organizations.

The MusiCares Foundation — provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need, and also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community.

Volunteers of America — a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.

The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada — dedicated to working within the community to fulfill heart-felt wishes for children diagnosed with high-risk, life-threatening illnesses.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation — a national charitable organization dedicated to the support and advancement of breast cancer research, education, diagnosis and treatment.
